Plop. Crack. Eww!

One of our son's chickens has a habit of sitting on other *chickens* when she wants to lay an egg.

When this happens, Papa needs to move her. . .

Oops! Too late!

"Do you see what you did?!"

There's nothing left to do except to remove the egg and clean up.

"I've told you a thousand times. . ."

"That's okay; you're forgiven."

My husband and I can't travel to exotic locations at this time in our life, so I have to search for interesting subjects right in my own neighborhood--literally. I didn't realize what beautiful textures, light, and colors were available to me until I started looking for them through the viewfinder of my camera.
